Why The STILL Edit?

We are in a season of change. All good changes. Personally, our family is preparing for our oldest to enter her senior year of high school. We have started making plans for what happens next, started the college visits and talking about programs of interest. It’s a big moment.

If you have followed me for any amount of time you may know that these moments are exciting for me. While many parents wonder how their kids grew up so fast, and wish they were smaller for just a bit longer, I have never been like that. I look forward to each year that they grow older just so I can see who they are becoming and how they are changing. But I also know that I dont always take the time to appreciate the moments we are in.

That’s where The STILL Edit came in.

It’s in the moments of stillness that we can slow down to take in the beauty of the present, and all that led to where we are right now.

It’s in the STILL that our memories come alive.

And isn’t that why we take photographs? So we can capture the joy and the love to hold onto for years to come?

While my focus will now be on High School Seniors, family and couples photography will always be a part of my business.
